Powered and Unpowered Camp Sites
At Howqua Caravan Park, if you are looking for an unpowered camp site without lugging all the extra bits and pieces along, have we got the place for you.
Our foreshore camping area boasts a Camp Kitchen to die for. All undercover, It has a large gas stove, microwave, communal fridge, washing up facilities as well as cooking utensils and pots and pans. There are also numerous BBQ's scattered throughout this area while taking in the views of the Howqua Valley and Lake. This area has its own male/female shower and toilet.
At Howqua, our park is terraced which enables all powered sites to have uninterrupted views of the Howqua Valley and Lake Eildon. Each level has its own toilet/shower blocks with Laundry. Most of the powered sites are adjacent to the Playground and Gazebo area. Often groups meet at the Gazebo for Happy hour or to cook their evening meal. The Gazebo area is undercover and seats up to 20 people. It has a large BBQ with 2 gas ring burner and in winter you can use the campfire pit.
The powered sites have their own power and water supply and sullage point. Choose from our grassy, shaded sites or our pebbled and concrete pad sites that are great for people with vans or R.V's due to their solid base.
You don't feel hemmed in when camping at Howqua, due to each levels unique design.
